§ 4 General Rights and Obligations; House Rules

(1) The guest shall treat the holiday apartment and its inventory with due care. The guest is obliged to comply with the House Rules. A low volume period ("Nachtruhe") applies from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. During this time, special consideration must be shown to fellow residents and neighbors. TV and audio devices must be set to a low volume (room volume).

(2) For the duration of the stay, the guest is obliged to keep windows and doors closed when leaving the apartment, to set all radiators to a low level, and to switch off lights and electronic devices.

(3) The keeping of pets of any kind in the holiday apartment is not permitted. If animals are kept without the prior consent of the provider, a flat-rate cleaning fee of up to €300.00 (net) may be invoiced.

(4) A general smoking ban applies within the holiday apartment. In the event of violations, the provider may charge a flat-rate cleaning fee of up to €1.000.00 (net). Smoking is only permitted on the terrace.

(5) Use of the internet is permitted upon conclusion of an internet use agreement including the provision of a passport number, provided such use does not violate legal regulations. Criminal acts (in particular illegal downloads or website visits) will be reported and prosecuted. The guest is solely liable for any illegal use of the internet.

(6) The installation and/or attachment of decorative materials or similar items in the holiday apartment is not permitted. The guest is solely liable for any decorations or similar items nevertheless installed and/or attached and shall indemnify the provider against third-party claims. Furthermore, the guest is obliged to compensate for any damages caused by the installation or attachment of such decorations.

(7) The provider has the right of access to the holiday apartment at any time, particularly in the event of imminent danger ("Gefahr im Verzug"). In exercising the right of access, due consideration must be given to the guest's legitimate interests. The provider shall inform the guest of the exercise of the right of access in advance, unless this is unreasonable or impossible under the circumstances of the individual case.
